The Isles of Lewis and Harris offer some of the finest Historical gems and areas of stunning scenic beauty that Scotland has to offer. Achard, Dunard Villa and Stemreway offer quality accommodation for visitors to the Western Isles and are both conveniently located for exploring the Historical and Natural Beauty that these Islands have to offer.

For families visiting the Islands, Children are not forgotten as the vast amount of unpoilt sandy beaches make the Islands not just a beautiful place to be but an intriguing playground. The beaches are vast and at many times totally empty. Situated in the gulf stream ensures the water to be generally warmer than other parts of the UK.

Dunard Villa is situated at 10 MacLean Terrace, a quiet cul-de-sac on the outskirts of Stornoway but within easy walking distance of the town centre. The house is detached and in an elevated position with large front balcony, front and back garden and double garage. Dunard overlooks and is within five minutes walking distance to Stornoway's 18 hole golf course and Lews Castle Grounds, which boasts a stately castle, the river Creed, unusual trees and fauna, bird watching, mapped walks and a cafe/shop.

Stemreway, situated in the village of Back about six miles form Stornoway, offers absolute comfort and tranquillity. Downstairs, the house has a very large open plan sitting/dining room with original fireplaces, kitchen, conservatory and bath/shower room. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one double with en-suite and the other twin bedded. There is loc-block parking at the front and a large garden area to the rear. The house is fully furnished and equipped to a high standard. A coloured brochure with full details is available on request. Visitors frequently comment on the superb view from the picture window in the conservatory of the village of Gress with its magnificent sandy beach and the open expanse of Broad Bay.

The island's scenic beauty, ancient monuments, numerous unspoilt sandy beaches and pursuits such as river, sea and loch fishing, boating, wind surfing, climbing, birdlife, fauna and designated walks are all part of Hebridean life - let us share that experience with you.

Stornoway, (pop.5000) offers many sporting, recreational, cultural and musical activities.
